Muslims performed the Eid Al-Adha prayer throughout Saudi Arabia on Sunday. Imams leading the congregations asked Allah to accept worshippers’ prayers and good deeds.

King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman received calls from leaders of Islamic countries including Kuwaiti Emir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Bahraini King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa and Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi.

The king and the crown prince thanked the leaders for their good wishes. They also sent cables to leaders of Islamic countries.
On Saturday, King Salman arrived in Mina to view pilgrim facilities. Almost 2.5 million Muslims from around the world are taking part in the Hajj, one of the largest annual global gatherings.

The king was in Mina to “ensure the services provided by the relevant government and private sector bodies meet the needs of the pilgrims and allow them to complete their Hajj rituals with ease, tranquility and safety,” the Saudi Press Agency reported.

He was received at Mina Palace by Interior Minister and Chairman of the Supreme Hajj Committee Prince Abdul Aziz bin Saud bin Naif, as well as other senior officials.
