Saudi Arabia’s air defense forces shot down five Houthi drones aimed at Asir region

Saudi Arabia's air safeguard powers shot down five automatons propelled by Houthi psychological militants against focuses in the Kingdom's southern fringe district of Asir, a representative of the Arab Coalition supporting Yemen's genuine government said early Friday. 

Colonel Turki Al-Maliki said in an announcement discharged by the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) that the automatons were focused at Abha universal airplane terminal and the city of Khamis Mushayt on Thursday night. 

"Air traffic and airspace at Abha International Airport are working ordinarily, and there is no deferral in flights and traveler traffic," Al-Maliki said. 

He said that "the Houthi fear based oppressor local army is attempting to target regular citizen offices in edgy and rehashed endeavors, without accomplishing any of their reckless and unfriendly goals." 

 

"These automatons were uncovered and dropped. We weight on our genuine ideal to take fitting prevention measures, with such antagonistic acts and in congruity with worldwide compassionate law and its standard guidelines," he said. 

It was the second automaton assault by the Iran-upheld Houthis on Khamis Mushayt in four days. Last Monday, Saudi air protection powers shot down two automatons propelled toward the city.
